This is the first time I use English in this blog. I dit it just because I wanted to. I know n reallized that my english not so good, so if I did it wrong pliz forgive me.
Sometimes we need vacation or may be just day off in a week. We need this to refresh our mind from our job, so we won’t get stress. But sometime we must connect with our business partner or even our officemate wherever we are. If get vacation along from city traffic, without Wi-fi or GPRS connection, you’ll need friendly email client.
For PocketPC (PPC) or PDA user, you’re very lucky. In that gadget already exist trusted email client that we called Microsoft Outlook. The ability to support IMAP is great solutionfor system to pick up you email automaticlly.
Ok, before we go vacation, activate Google mail IMAP.
> Sign in your gmail by PC or your PDA web browser
> Choose setting in your Gmail account
> Choose forwarding and POP/IMAP
> Chosse Enable IMAP
> Save
Configarate your PPC
1. in desktop click Start Menu and choose Program > Messaging > New Email Account
2. sign in to your gmail account in email address coloum
3. uncheck [v] in ‘get setting automatically from the internet” box, and click next
4. choose ‘internet e-mail’ as your email provider
5. entry your name you want. This name will be appear everytime you sent email from your PPC
6. entry your descriptive name for your email account and click next
7. entry ‘imap.gmail.com’ in Incoming Mail Server coloum
8. choose IMAP4 as email account in drop down menu, next
9. entry your email account and password, next
10. entry 'smtp.gmail.com' in Outgoing Mail Server coloum
11. make sure to check [v] Outgoing Server Requires Auhentication box
12. click Advanced Server Settings link
13. make sure to check [v] in Require SSL box for email incoming and outgoing
14. in drop down menu choose The Internet as web connection
15. click Done, next
16. in drop down menu, set how many time your PPC send and receive email automatically
17. for advanced option, you can click Review All Download Settings link
18. Finish
It is easy, isn’t it? With IMAP email in your PPC, you don’t need to open the web just to read and download important email anymore. Ok, have a nice vacation!!!!

Mas, saya sudah terlanjur pake Yahoo.com. Tolong bantuin gimana cara setting IMAP buat yahoo di O2 Atom? Thnx

langsung di PDA anda.
1. masuk ke mesagge > menu > tools > Options > new account
2. isi alamat email dan password yahoo! anda, next
3. Isi nama anda dan account display name, next
4. Pilih kapan email anda akan di download di "automatic send/receive". anda bisa juga memilih manually. Finish
5. anda bisa memilih langsung download email ato tidak.

@ agus > Selamat ya mas agus. namanya juga push email (download email), klo mo send mas agus harus masuk account yahoomail dulu. seperti klo ngirim email lewat komputer. klo mo lebih sip ngirim emailnya, mas agus bisa pake application Yahoo! go.

Saya sdh install Opera Mini. Jadi kalau mau kirim email saya login ke yahoomail di Opera.
