Sync PDA between Windows Mobile and Palm

Many Pocket PC user are Palm user either. Sometimes, this user called “double agent”, or with the other word they use 2 kinds of different device. One of the problem from “double agent” is all about sync between those PDA. Maybe you want to save your data file in your both PDA, but the problem is how to sync those PDA. This is not easy job, because there are 2 kind of different device. Just like I said before. Ok’s, this time I’ll tell you how to sync data between Pocket PC (Windows Mobile) and Palm. Not only for the “double agent”, but for you which only have a kind of PDA better know this information. Why? May be if some day you want to change you device, than this information will usefull to transfer your important file.

1st step: use connector software In this 1st step you must have connector sofware. You can use Microsoft Outlook and Chapura Pocket Mirror added tool.
Use Microsoft Outlook to save your all data (as data storage center), meanwhile use Pocket Mirror to connect Palm with Microsoft Outlook। To sync your Pocket PC you can use standard tool, Microsoft Activesync.

2nd step: Sync your PDA with Microsoft Outlook

All you have to do is sync your PDA which you want to back up to Microsoft Outlook. If you use Pocket PC, activate Contacts and Calendar option to sync. But if you use Palm, you must install Chapura Pocket Mirror first. You must back up your all data to Microsoft Outlook before it sync.

3rd step: Chapura Pocket Mirror configuration
Run Pocket Mirror and choose your Palm device which want to sync with Microsoft Outlook। Then, choose “Settings” menu.


See the “Outlook Contacts” coloumn and make sure choose “Synchronize”. If it is not any choice yet, you can use “Change” button to change the option to “Synchronize”. Now you can close all window.

Final step: Sync PDA to Microsoft Outlook
Sync all of your PDA (Pocket PC and Palm). Make Microsoft Outlook as your data starage center. So you can easy to move your data in one PDA to another one

    Kalau menghasilkan puluhan hingga ratusan kilo, mengapa CD nya dijual??? Lebih baik dipakai sendiri di rumah burung walet anda.... betul begitu kan???
